Agustín Tapia wins his second title of the season in Mexico

Mozart from Catamarca has been proclaimed champion of the Mexico P1 Premier Padel, played last week in Acapulco. With this victory he has reaffirmed that he has started this new season with the best form, adding this title to the Major he clinched in Qatar earlier this March.

Throughout the week the Argentine showed that his position as top seed in the draw was more than justified. Just as he did in the Qatar Major, with an overwhelming game he did not give up a single set to reach the final. The outcome of the tournament followed the same tone of the whole week.

From Centre Court he won by a convincing 6-0 6-4 in a final that did not last an hour. In just 17 minutes he closed the first set leaving the audience totally surprised with a gale of talent, while in the second set he showed great mental strength against opponents who presented much more battle.

We continue adding titles to Team NOX, looking forward to seeing Agustin Tapia shine also in Venezuela.
