NOX adds a new No. 1 to its team, Paraguayan Martín Abud

We are pleased to announce that we have added a new national hero to the ranks of Team NOX. The young Paraguayan Martin Abud joins the growing list of number 1 players that represent the brand internationally, such as Sten Richters, Tia Norton, Louie Harris and Victoria Kurz, among many others, who lead the ranking in their respective countries.

A native of Encarnación, Paraguay, with just 21 years old he stands out among the best players of the A1 Padel circuit, as well for having made great results as his great victory in the World Junior Championship 2021. A diamond in the rough who is revolutionizing padel in his country, with very clear ideas of what he is pursuing this season: to take some circuit title, qualify for the Final Master and represent Paraguay in the world championship.

“We are hopeful that Martin will become one of the key players of Team NOX. His fight and energy on the court perfectly represents the values of the brand. With his signing we reinforce our commitment to the growth of padel in Paraguay, a territory for which we have been betting strongly since we opened our factory,” said Jesús Ballvé, General Manager of NOX.

For his part, Abud commented: “The truth is that I feel very grateful to Jesus and all the people who made this possible. The truth is that I am very happy to belong to this great brand that is for me the best in the world. Now I just have to train to leave Team NOX at the top.

Regarding the choice of shovel for this season, has opted for one of the newest of the 2024 collection. The TL10 Future, designed for the young Argentine Tino Libaak. A hybrid racket for players of versatile style, which provides maximum comfort in both defense and attack. After testing different models, Martin has opted for this one because he felt that this racket would be the best ally to adapt to any match situation and get the best shots in difficult moments.
